We have all wood floors downstairs. Not a stitch of carpeting. So it would hazard to guess that wood fairies would be attracted to it. Those of you who scoff at the idea of fairies obviously have not been to the UK where you can readily buy “Fairy Liquid” a magical, washing up, liquid made and produced by fairies. Much like Keebler elves who make the cookies here in the States. So there.

Fairies (or faeries) are supernatural beings that are highly misunderstood by our own culture. This is why they tend to shy away from us. And since we honestly don’t seem to have much time for other humans, they realize we would have even less time for them, so they remain hidden. They also have no interest in baking or cobbling, so once again, the elves get all the limelight.

But these fey don’t seem to mind all that much. They are perfectly happy flitting around and being happy without us paying one scrap of attention to them. But like all creatures they do like to shake things up a bit. Much like the one living in our living room.

Both of the dogs like to lay in the living room with us while we relax. None of us are troubled by this creature and its pranks yet for some reason it has focused on Mocha. Mainly on her hind end, or in other terms, her butt.

Yes, for some odd reason Mocha is being plagued by an invisible force. She will be laying there quietly underneath the coffee table when bang, zip, zoom, chew! Mocha dashes from underneath the table like she has been poked or even set on fire. She looks at the ground behind her and at her hiney and then starts to chew vigorously!

We have inspected the area after she runs off, we have inspected her. There is nothing. This has led me to the conclusion that we have a wood fairy that has focused in on my doggies bum. I am not sure how long this will last and if the fairy will follow us whenever we move. All I know is that our buns aren’t as tasty as my pooch. Which doesn’t surprise me since, after all, she does have a Mocha butt.
