Surreal

Somethings don’t change, no matter where you go.

Went into the Home Depot and it was like being sucked into another dimension (of sorts). It smelled the same, looked the same, sounded the same. If it hadn’t have been for the snow shovels I would have thought I was back in Hobbs.

It’s one of those weird things about certain places. No matter where you are they are the same. For some reason it’s not places like McDonald’s but places like Home Depot. Why is that?

My hubby used to work at Home Depot a few years ago…. I think it’s something they put into the air as you walk in the door  It brainwashes you into coming back.

    Brainwashing, that sounds about right.

I think they have a big cookie cutter that when they build like a home depot they just put down some rebar and a big slab of concrete then lower the cookie cutter down and that makes the building and as for smells, that would eau du Home Depot. It is pumped through the vents. LOL!!

 I would agree there is indeed a certain smell about the place.

They suck for Christmas parties though…. used to always clear out the garden centre on a Saturday afternoon then the staff would come back Sat. night and have their party. Nothing like having a buffet served in the lighting aisle and your pre-dinner entertainment singing while sitting on a toilet display.
