Life is full of this. And I got my share yesterday.  I didn’t get the part in the indie horror film.  However, it’s not as bad as it sounds and don’t worry my eyes are not puffy from crying.

I received an email from the writer of the film last night. She said she had really wanted to cast me, as my reading was excellent but the director felt I looked too young for the part. Damn my good genetics and sensibility to not smoke, drink a lot and wear SPF 50.

It isn’t the end of the world. I will keep on trucking. I know better actors than me have been turned down for parts because they didn’t “have the look”.  It’s just a bit disappointing.
