Happy  New Year!  Hope everyone had a lovely time last night.

It’s a bit of a weird New Years for me.  A new year in a new home and in some ways it was a bit weird to watch the ball drop in the Big Apple and know that it was live and not something that had actually happened two hours earlier.

We sat on the third floor of our home and watched the fireworks downtown. Something I have never before done. It was a lot of fun.

As for resolutions. I don’t make any because I think they’re a waste of time. Either you want to change or you don’t.  It being the start of another year doesn’t make it any more magical.

All I can do is hope that 2008 will be a great year full of happiness and joy. And that I remember to put ‘08 on my checks instead of ‘07.
