Saturday morning cartoons
What the hell has happened? I mean, where have they gone? Why aren’t they around anymore? I miss seeing Bugs, Daffy, the Smurfs and everyone else on Saturday morning. I know Cartoon network kind of took over things but honestly, even they don’t show it anymore.
These cartoons were classics and kids today would love them just as much. Have we become to PC to watch them? Is the reporting of Clinton v. Obama on Saturday morning really more important?
The idea that kids no longer rush out of bed on Saturday mornings in their pj’s to eat sugary cereal and watch mindless cartoon violence, while their parents enjoy a lie in just breaks my heard.
It’s the end of a era.

My hubby still watches them…. and tapes them when he has to work. But I’ll agree that they’re not like they used to be. There all superhero’s or anime stuff. I say bring back Looney Tunes and Archie and Jughead
I just wanted to let you know that Sydeny and I enjoy Smurfs, Snorks, Pound Puppies, and Scooby Doo on Boomerang. It is from the Cartoon Network and has all the Tex Avery, Joseph Barbera, William Hanna, and Chuck Jones cartoons too! The best part is she loves to watch them on Sat. Morning, and can even talk Reed into watching with her!
Boomerang is awesome and I am glad that Sydney is getting to enjoy it! I just feel for all those kids out there who don’t get that on their cable provider. At least I know she is being raised right!
