Today would have been my father’s 69th birthday.  Sadly, he is not here to celebrate it. He died far to early from colon cancer.

That is why on this day I want to remind all of you that regular screenings for colon cancer is something you want to be sure to do. Colon cancer is one of the slowest growing and easily treated cancers. When it is caught in the early stages it’s survival rate is extraordinary.  So please, don’t miss out on any birthdays. Talk to your doctor about colon cancer and any other necessary cancer screenings.

Yesterday must have been a difficult day for you. I obviously never met your dad, but getting to know you, I can’t help but think how proud of you he would have been. xxoo

I wish I would have known and I would have hugged you. So I send you many huggs today.

I thank you both for your kind comments. Dad is truly missed. It’s people like you who help me and my family through the tough times.
